Clasten, another German exchange student we met during the "Getting Started" session. He later became our good friend.

20 February 2005: Garage sale and Vegemite sandwich

Garage Sale at one of the churches near by our house in St. Lucia. We got pretty good deals on plates, cutlery and some kitchen stuffs.

Vegemite sandwich with beetroot and eggs, the true Aussie meal.

19 February 2005: My birthday cake

My first birthday cake in Australia was bought from Coles by Jo and Christoph. It was a surprise too! It's a chocolate mudcake and has become my favourite cake ever since! =D

18 February 2005: First night in the house

The first three members of the house, Christoph, me and Jo. We celebrated with red wind from a 5 liter cask and ready-made lasagna on plastic cups, plates, forks and knives. And we had Jo's metal box as a dining table.
